The awe-inspiring beauty of nature has captivated me since childhood. Road trips on summer vacations with my family to camp at many of our beautiful U.S. National Parks were my first opportunities to try my hand at photography. My very first images were captured with a Kodak Instamatic camera that I received when I was about ten years old. The excitement of recording on film my unique vision of the environment led me to purchase my first 35mm camera in my late teens, and I have been fortunate to have learned my craft from other experienced photographers over the years.

These days I shoot with a professional digital SLR camera and do all my own digital imaging.
